Dacromet Surface is it suitable for you?

005

During use, steel parts are prone to electrochemical corrosion and chemical corrosion due to the influence of the working environment. It is common in industrial applications to improve the surface properties of workpieces through surface treatment technology and enhance the anti-corrosion properties of workpieces. This issue introduces two surface technologies with excellent anti-corrosion properties: Dacromet surface treatment technology

006

Dacromet surface treatment technology is an anti-corrosion coating technology, mainly used for surface protection of metal products. It uses the electroless plating method to evenly cover the metal surface with a layer of inorganic coating with anti-corrosion properties. The usually processing temperature is around 300°C. This coating is mainly composed of ultrafine flaky zinc, aluminum and chromium, which can effectively improve the corrosion resistance of metal products and prolong their service life. The Dacromet process can form a dense film layer of 4~8 μm on the surface of the workpiece. Due to the overlapping layers of flake zinc and aluminum, it prevents corrosive media such as water and oxygen from contacting the steel parts. At the same time, during the Dacromet processing , chromic acid chemically reacts with zinc, aluminum powder and base metal to form a dense passivation film, which has good corrosion resistance.

009

Generally, Dacromet surface treatment technology is a common metal surface treatment method. Dacromet technology is mainly used for anti-corrosion protection, especially for screws and fasteners. It is widely used to improve the hardness and durability of metal products. Abrasiveness and corrosion resistance. For workpieces with both hardness and anti-corrosion requirements, Crow technology is more applicable. When choosing the appropriate surface treatment technology, it needs to be selected according to the specific application requirements.
